Volunteering at the Library

*****This page is currently under construction*****

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the library.  Volunteering is a great way to support your library, meet your neighbors, and give back to your community.  Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.

Please note: Students who are looking to earn service-learning hours need to contact their preferred branch directly to complete a form. Students are responsible for verifying their hours qualify. Anyone under the age of 18 will need parent/guardian permission.

  • Most volunteer assignments require standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stretching, kneeling, squatting, and lifting.
  • Volunteering requires interacting with customers and staff courteously, pleasantly, and efficiently.
  • Volunteers must adhere to Worcester County Library policies and procedures.
  • All volunteers are required to record volunteer hours, arrivals, and departures.
  • We don’t accept volunteers fulfilling court-ordered community service hours.

Please complete this online form.  If you prefer, you can print out the form and return directly to your library branch.
