Now Open - Temporary Pocomoke Library

The temporary Pocomoke Library is now open at the old Fire Station on Fifth Street. The door and parking lot are on the far side of the building. Thank you for your patience as we have made our move to our temporary location, and we look forward to seeing you soon!

Update 2/18 - Regular hours of operation have resumed; 9 am - 6 pm - Monday thru Thursday, 9 am - 5 pm - Fridays, and 9 am - 1 pm on Saturdays.

Worcester County Library is excited to announce new Seed Libraries available at the Berlin, Pocomoke, and Snow Hill branches. This service is part of the Cooking up Health: A Nourishing Neighbors Program, a robust diabetes prevention program developed by the Worcester County Health Department. A huge thank you to CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield for funding the Cooking up Health Project for our community.

The Seed Library is a fun – and free – way to try planting your very own garden.

The Worcester County Library Board of Trustees has an open seat representing the Pocomoke area, and we will have an opening representing the Ocean City area beginning January 2026.  We’re seeking passionate, community-minded individuals to join us for a 5-year term.
