Your library needs YOU! This Giving Tuesday, show your love for the Worcester County Library Foundation. Every dollar helps keep our shelves full, our programs exciting, and our community connected. Donate before December 2nd and give back where it counts most!
This year the Library Foundation is focusing on the new Pocomoke Library, currently under construction, and building a children's porch to create more places for children and families to play and explore. The Philip A. Zaffere Foundation is providing a matching grant up to $50,000 to help fund the porch. We are incredibly grateful to the Zaffere Foundation for their generosity. With the new library set to open in late Spring 2026, this opportunity will allow your donation to go twice as far. The Children's Porch will be used for dynamic, engaging outdoor learning activities like story times, music events, art programs, and a space for children and families to read and play. We are very fortunate that this matching grant came during this critical phase of the building project. Every contribution will help make the new library a special place that will be enjoyed by the Pocomoke community for generations to come.
