Valentine's Day Escape Room!

Do you have what it takes to solve all the puzzles of this escape room? Teams of 4 or fewer may participate all month long.  At the end of the month, teams with the shortest time will win a special prize. You can participate in the escape room at ANY Worcester County Library Branch!

We're Fine Free!

We're Fine Free

Worcester County Library has joined a growing number of libraries that do not charge fines for overdue materials; we are now one of six systems in Maryland without fines. By removing fines, the Library furthers its mission to promote reading, thinking, learning, and the enjoyment of the arts.

New Americans Corner

Welcome New Americans!  All five branches of the Worcester County Library have added citizenship resources to their collections and created a “New Americans Corner.”  Access to study materials, including practice books and flash cards, as well forms and applications from the U.S.

The Early Childhood Family Engagement Framework Toolkit: Maryland’s Vision for Engaging Families with Young Children, was developed through funding with the W.K. Kellogg Foundation. Worcester County Library is excited to announce the launch of the new Pocomoke Seed Library!  This is part of the Farm to Library initiative, a robust diabetes prevention program developed by the Worcester County Health Department.  A huge thank you to CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield for funding the Farm to Library program for our community.

The Seed Library is a fun – and free – way to try planting your very own garden.  Here’s how:
