The Worcester County Health Department in collaboration with the University of Maryland Extension, will offer a series of the "Cooking Up Health" program at the Worcester County Tourism Building starting on Monday, September 14. The multi-session ( 6 week)  class will be offered from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and participants will learn about basic nutrition, growing food, preparing food, and food preservation. The program also includes hands on activities and a session dedicated to financial wellness. There is no cost for program participants.
