Apply for a Library Card

If you live, work, go to school or own property in Worcester County you are eligible for a free library card. Maryland residents with acceptable ID are eligible for a free Worcester County Library card. Non-residents can obtain a library card for an annual fee of $10. Young people, under 18 years old, must have a parent's or guardian's signature to obtain a card. Please bring identification or verification of residency.

Your library card may be presented at any Worcester County Library location and be registered at any other Maryland Public Library, subject to their policies and regulations. Cards are valid for three years. Borrowers must have a valid library card and PIN (Personal Identification Number) to access their account online. If you lose your library card, contact the library as soon as possible.
