B"A Much To Do About Shakespeare"

Friday, September 3, 2021 - 1:00pm

Join us for a fun and entertaining look at one of the Bard's most loved plays! Are you in a complicated relationship with Shakespeare? Do you want to (re)define the relationship before you break up for good? Join Brown Box Theatre Project in an engaging, exciting exploration of Shakespeare's words and worlds. Starting with collaborative relationship-building exercises, we will look at Much Ado About Nothing through its post-conflict scope. What happens when communities, like those in the script, begin to embrace non-traditional ways of thinking? The workshop will be led by teaching artist and human who enjoys theatre, Surrey Houlker, who has worked with American Repertory Theatre, ArtsEmerson, and The Neo-Political Cowgirls.  Recent theatre credits include 'Love & Information', 'Girl in the Machine', 'Twelfth Night' (Emerson College). Our event is sponsored by the Friends of the Berlin Library.
