New Americans Corner

Welcome New Americans!  All five branches of the Worcester County Library have added citizenship resources to their collections and created a “New Americans Corner.”  Access to study materials, including practice books and flash cards, as well forms and applications from the U.S.

2020 Census

2020 Census Worcester Everyone Counts April 1 - July 31

It's time for the 2020 Census!  Worcester County Library is proud to be a part of the Worcester County Complete Count Committee’s education and outreach effort.  In 2010 only 59% of the residents of Worcester County completed the census survey - this was the lowest response in the State of Maryland.  Everyone living in the continental US, Puerto Rico and the Island Areas of the US is mandated by the US Constitution (Article 1, Section 2) to complete a census survey every 10 years.

Winter Train Garden

Holiday Train Garden Ocean City Library

The Winter Train Garden has arrived to the Ocean City Library. Enjoy it now through January 15, 2023!  This spectacular Winter Train Garden is provided from the personal collection of train enthusiast Dennis Moore, a local resident.  Visitors of all ages will delight in interacting with buttons that activate accessories and sounds.  A scavenger hunt for our young patrons will also be available.  The Winter Train Garden is open during the library’s normal operating hours - we hope to see you soon!
