The Library Has Returned To Normal Hours

All five library branches have returned to normal service hours.

Due to orders by Governor Hogan, masks are no longer required to enter the library.  Use of masks and social distancing are highly encouraged to protect any vulnerable and at-risk visitors to our library. Thank you for your consideration!

Computers will be available first come, first serve, for 45-minute sessions. Library staff will assist at the copy machines. Meeting rooms are currently available at 50% capacity. Virtual programs continue, and we have begun to add outdoor programs - please check our online calendar: https://worcesterlibrary.libcal.com/ for details. Contactless pick up of library materials (library-to-go) will also continue Monday-Saturdays at all branch locations; as well as our remote printing service (https://worcesterlibrary.org/events/printing-go).

The library cannot guarantee the cleanliness of materials or equipment as public libraries are high touch facilities. The risk of entering a public facility is your own. We will clean high touch surfaces every hour as recommended by the CDC, however the availability of cleaning supplies is limited.

Depending on the number of cases in Worcester County, we may be forced to return to previous restrictions, and we apologize in advance should this become necessary.

To maintain a safe environment for patrons and staff:

  • Use of masks and social distancing are highly encouraged to protect any vulnerable and at-risk visitors to our library.
  • Hand sanitizer is available for staff and patrons to use as they enter and leave the building
  • If you have a fever or are not feeling well, please do not come to the library

At this time, the following services are not yet available:

  • One-on-one computer help
  • Fax services
  • Children's area toys and games
